Here are the steps to create Kego’s disposable wooden cutlery products
Cut wood into logs
Wood is the raw material for disposable wooden cutlery production. The wood used must be round wood, not warped, wood with intact bark and not sticky with toxic chemicals
Wood is gathered to prepare to be cut into wood logs according to the prescribed standards. This is the first step of the production process
Boil wood logs
Wood is boiled according to the process of boiling wood: Hot annealing temperature 60-65 degrees Celsius, boiling at 98 degrees. Wood must be intact after boiling, not broken, cracked, Both sides of the boiled log are not blackened >0.5cm.
Wood cleaning
The log is cleaned, the bark, dead eyes and foreign bodies removed, and then centered
Rotate cut the veneer
The wood is peeled according to the size of the manufactured product, the thickness of the peeled veneer: +1.9mm. The two sides of the board are even and smooth, the back of the veneer is not cracked
Peeling veneer will be removed the rotten part, remove the top of the board that is not quality and thickness. The veneer will be round and stacked on the veneerveneer
Shaping product
The thin pieces of wood are then put into the shape cutting machine to create the rough shapes of the product
Product drying
After creating the shape of the product, The products will be taken to high-frequency drying. With the right drying temperature, product moisture after drying < 5 degrees Celsius, the edge of the product is not scratched and smooth. The product is then stored in the packaging
Product classification
Products are classified according to production requirements to be uniform in quality and color, ensuring the highest quality to consumers products will then be reversed, preserved by packaging, sorted separately by volume, specific weight according to each bag, production time
Cut fork teeth
The fork is cut with teeth according to the requirements of the fork product, the tooth cut ensures no burning, no cracking.
Prototyping heat press
The product profiles after being dried are put into the heat press machine to shape the product. This is the last step before being packaged and preserved.
The finished product moisture is guaranteed to be <7 degrees Celsius, the finished product is then sorted in one direction in the package, counted and packed according to the production requirements
The cutlery products will be packed into bags and packed into carton boxes. On the package will be full information about the product, accompanying certificates ( Our products can be labeled FSC® C148899 because we use wood from FSC-certified plantation and ISO Cert). Meet the requirements to bring to the market. Logo on the product will be printed at the request of the buyer.

All stages are strictly controlled by Kego, the factory and workers must be disinfected and cleaned before production, and we have full factory quality certificates ( FSC, ISO18-22000, HACCP)
With our current size and production capacity, we can supply 15 million products corresponding to 6 containers of 20ft per month and with current production capacity we will ramp up production further in the future
